The Six Bells is a 16th-century free house with three regular beers and three changing guests with at least one from a Herts brewer. The only licensed premises within the walls of Roman Verulamium and within walking distance of the city centre, Cathedral, Park and Museum. Occasional quiz nights and live music feature. Good home cooked food served lunchtimes and evenings (not Sunday evenings).
